Easy Liver Healthy Cauliflower Mash

  • Cauliflower contains Indole-3-carbinol a nutrient that has been shown to help the liver with its detox functions

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large cauliflower
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1/3 Cup of cauliflower water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish with herbs of your preference
  • Preparation time: 20 minutes

    Size: 4 Servings

    Instructions:


    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cauliflower and garlic and cook for about 10 minutes or until fully tender.
    2. Drain the cauliflower keeping 1/3 cup of the water used to boil the cauliflower aside.
    3. Transfer the cauliflower and garlic to a food processor, add salt and pepper to taste and puree until smooth. You can also use a potato masher if you don’t have a food processor.
    4. Garnish with your fresh herbs of choice and your cauliflower mash is ready to be served!
