We surveyed 3000 of our customers on what they believe is important for liver health. Respondents ranked 7 factors in terms of importance on a scale of 1 to 5 (where 1 means “not at all important” and five means “extremely important”).

The highest ranked factor was “Nutrition” with 87.9% of respondents ranking it as the most important, followed by “Regular Exercise” and “Regular Medical Check-up”. When we conducted a survey with health specialsts at the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in San Diego, we found the results to be quite similar. Health specialists also ranked “Nutrition” as the most important factor for liver health.

“No Refined Sugars” ranks as the most important property of food for Liver Health

When asked about the most important food properties for liver health, 72.4% of respondents ranked “No Refined Sugars” as the most important factor, followed by “Non GMO” at 51.5% and “Sodium Free” at 51.2%. Similarly in our survey at the DDW, health specialists ranked “No Refined Sugars” as the most important property, however they ranked “Sodium Free” as higher than “Non GMO”.
